Early Spring Blooms Sighted!

Early Spring in Austin, marked by SXSW Music Festival, days of  perfect weather mixed with rain, and lots of time spent outside.  I have started to see several of our early bloomers out.  Our dear Agarita with its honey smelling yellow flowers and strong antimicrobial action, Red Bud with their brilliant pink blossoms high in Vit C, tiny little violets offerring cool, nutritive and soothing medicine, antiinflammatory Henbits shouting with their purple, irregular blooms and my fruit trees have started to bloom!  Check out my facebook site for the school to see pics of other early spring bloomers to look for
